MA KCL or SOAS

I have received offers for both the MA War Studies at King's College London and MA Politics and International Relations at SOAS. I know both are excellent programs in their fields, but that has me in a conflicted position. I find the global south focus at soas very appealing, as well as the cyber policy and governance element at kcl. Do you think one program is better than the other? If you are studying or have studied in either and can share your insight, it would help me decide and I'd appreciate it greatly!

Hello! I've responded on you other thread but thought I would pop my message here too.

Congratulations on your offers! If you are trying to make a decision, it may be worth coming onto campus during one of our open days to speak to professors. Unfortunately, bookings have filled up for our event next Thursday but we do have another Postgraduate Open Day in March if you are interested.

Alternatively, if you are interested in having a chat with a professor from that department sooner than March, please send me your email address over DMs and I will try to arrange a conversation with an academic. They may be able to give you a better insight into what the masters course is about and whether it suits your academic interests and/or long-term goals.

I cannot speak on behalf of King's, but I reckon if you email their postgraduate admissions and request a talk to an academic they may be able to help out.

Wishing you all the best.

Hey! Still waiting for my decision from Kings, just wondering what A-levels you're predicted?

The OP has applied to a postgraduate course not an undergraduate course
