Christmas Holiday

Hello everyone🥳🥳🥳

I know everyone is excited since Christmas holiday is coming soon (loads of yummy food and nice presents), how is everyone spending their Christmas holiday?

Are you staying in halls/uni or going back home? 🤔🤶🎄

Have a happy jolly Christmas 🎄🩵
My daughter is coming home from uni on 12th.
I break up from uni myself on 15th.
We're visiting my sister-in-law on 15th as well.
We're spending 19th to 23rd (which includes my birthday on 20th) in Paris visiting my cousin.
24th is Toby Carvery with my mam and her husband.
Then midnight mass.
25th Christmas at home - my mam is coming over. Cheeseboard. Turkey dinner with all the trimmings.
26th is the leftover turkey curry. Then I'll be driving my mam home.
27th I've invited my dad and his wife over for dinner, but we'll see if they come.

Hi!

I am very excited for Christmas!

Before I go home, me and my housemates are doing our own version of Christmas, with a Christmas dinner and secret Santa presents which I am really looking forward to. It's always nice to get us all together doing something fun so this will be nice, and I am sure we will watch something Christmassy after too.

I am going home from Uni around a week before Christmas, which will be nice as it gives me a chance to enjoy being at home before all of the Christmas celebrations start. I still have some assignments due over the Christmas period so I will have to do some work while I am at home, but luckily I don't have any exams to revise for this year!

I think most of my time at home will be spent with family and friends which is one of my favourite things about Christmas - I think we have family coming to ours for Christmas this year too which will be lovely.

I hope everyone has a lovely Christmas!

Hi folks 🙂

Merry Christmas!

My plans...

1.

Finish all the jobs I have before the 19th when most uni staff break up for Xmas (most students finish the week before this!)

2.

Panic buy all my Christmas shopping

3.

Panic wrap all of my Christmas shopping

4.

Think of some decent conversation starters for the Christmas parties I'm going to!

5.

Walk around Bath Christmas Markets (they opened yesterday and are a true spectacle each year, though they can get quite busy)

6.

Spend time with family

7.

Listen to Christmas songs on repeat (recommended: Majestica: A Christmas Carol, Ajattara: Joululevy, and anything by Ladbaby)

8.

Panic buy a turkey and frantically search through YouTube vids on how to make a nut roast

9.

Bake a Christmas cake

10.

And when that's all done I can breathe 🙂

For those who either don't celebrate Christmas or are staying at uni over Christmas - please keep your eye on what your uni is doing over the holidays - often there will be Xmas lunches, mince pie receptions, and get-togethers!
