Loughborough Product Design Engineering Foundation Year

I currently have A*CC at a levels with the A* in product design and CC in maths and physics. I really want to do product design engineering at Loughborough and I understand that my grades are below what is needed because I had a bad year 12 and that the uni doesn't care about that, but is there chance of me getting into the foundation year or should I just give up?

Before someone responds with this I know the website says its only for people who did the wrong subjects or were in adverse situations but is this a rule or just a guide which my strong personal statement could help me get around?

It's more of a rule. You can email [email protected] to discuss about flexibility, but all of Loughborough's engineering courses are in high demand.
