5 car brands axed from Motability scheme

5 luxury car brands (BMW, Audi, Mercedes, Lexus and Alfa Romeo) have been axed from the Motability scheme.
What do you think to this?

I agree with it.
There is nothing wrong with normal cars. There are plenty of normal cars around that are suitable (e.g. higher up etc etc)

Not sure tbh, it does feel a bit like pandering to populism like so many things now do.

I'm unclear where this saved money is going to come from, if people have been topping it up with their own money to get a nicer car then you can't claim that money, and these people would still qualify for the other benefits anyway. So is she just talking about taking away the VAT exemptions from everyone on the scheme to make it overall unattractive?
