Looking for KCL student to take over GDSA room (official contract transfer)

Hi,
I’m currently living in Great Dover Street Apartments (King’s residences, near London Bridge) and I’m looking for another King’s student to take over my contract as I’m moving out of halls.

Residence: Great Dover Street Apartments (GDSA)

Room type: en-suite

Available from: 1st December

Contract ends: 27th June 2026

Rent: £245/week

It’s been a decent place to live super easy for Guy’s/Strand and central London.

This would be an official King’s Residences room transfer, not a sublet. The main conditions from King’s are:

You must be a full-time KCL student whose course has already started.

You can’t currently live in any King’s residence and must not have lived in King’s halls earlier in this academic year.

Transfer has to be approved by the King’s Residences Allocations Team, and they issue you a new licence once we both email them.

There’s a £50 cleaning/admin fee charged to each of us, and you’ll be asked to pay a £450 pre-payment of rent when the new contract is issued (it’s deducted from your next rent instalment).

Student needs to be under aged under 18 since the flat is allocated for under-18s only.

If you’re interested, please reply to this thread or send me a PM and I can share:

Exact room type + price

Photos / video of the room

More details on flatmates and what it’s like living here

How the email to King’s for the transfer works step-by-step

Happy to answer any questions about GDSA or the transfer process.

Hi, thanks for your message! I just realised I forgot to mention this in my original post are you under 18? The flat is allocated for under-18s only so I need to confirm before we go ahead.
