what are the chances of getting an offer from Warwick for PAIS & French?
My predicted grades are AAA (English Literature, History and French). Warwick asks for AAB, just wondering what my chances are of an offer? Also has anyone received an offer from them for this course yet?

I'm currently a Year Abroad student from warwick, I'm studying Politics and French. My predicted grades were AAB and I got exactly AAB and I got in. If ur grades are above what they require, I think they'll pretty much let u in provided that ur personal statement is at least half-decent

How have you found the PAIS and French course? Where are you spending your year abroad, if I may ask?

I've really enjoyed it so far, especially my second year modules, the only one I haven't liked so far is the Hobbes module in year 2. If you get to do Justice Democracy and Citizenship in yr 1, u should, it's really interesting. So is US politics in year 2, especially as Trump's second term started just a few months into the academic yr so there was so much to discuss regarding the election and all the stupid decisions he was making. French has been a bit harder, mostly just the language seminars but the culture modules have been quite interesting especially the one on the history of French cinema in yr 2. But the year abroad has defo helped with the language. I somehow got a placement through the British Council Assistantship programme where I'm teaching English to French kids, the uni has some sort of partnership with the British Council to make it a viable option for students to work as part of their year abroad. I also managed to get a placement in an Outre-Mer region so I'm currently in French Guiana in South America and it's been absolutely incredible here.

Yeah if u get an offer from warwick, u should defo go there cause the course is rlly interesting and they regularly also email u about potential work and internship opportunities in ur field of study as well
