Vet school fees as a second degree applicant

Is anyone in the same boat as me? I’m competing a degree currently and then going on to study vet med next year but I don’t get any funding for this as I’ll already have a degree. What can I do? I genuinely have no options of self funding with cash so I have no idea what to do now. Can anyone help?

For students from England-You should still get a maintenance loan for a second degree which a lot of people use to finance their tuition fees but remember you also need some money to live on and a lot of the course holidays are taken up by EMS so there is less chance for work. Are you going to start on the 4 year or 5 year course? It is really difficult for graduates who want to study veterinary unfortunately but people have done it if you are certain it’s worth it. More should be done by the industry/government to support second degree students as it’s not like medicine and dentistry where second degree students can get support from the NHS. How long is your current degree course? Student finance usually will pay for tuition fees for an extra year on top of the length of your first degree due to undergraduates who have to resit a year. So potentially you could still get a years tuition fees loan covered by student finance.
