Is it worth switching a levels at this point

I’m doing media a level and hating it I just don’t understand how to awnser the questions and it doesn’t make sense it’s just too abstract and I feel like I don’t know how to apply the theories and I don’t have another time or space to go in depth and I don’t even know what to talk about. Also I HATE unseen. I just hate my teacher and I find myself being really bored in lesson

And now my dad is talking about swapping a levels and I don’t even know but I feel like if I don’t make a decision then they won’t let me swap and it’ll be too late

I have no one to talk to about this I hate a levels so much

Do you recommend RE? I feel like it makes more sense to me because I LOVE sociology because it feels more straightforward with actual proof and social science just makes sense to me

I feel like media is a social science but the questions don’t let me actually go into it because there’s not enough time I can only do one or two sentences

I just really hate it but I don’t know if there’s any point in switching because it’ll be so much work and I might hate RE and I might get a bad grade

if you're doing 4 a levels, then definitely drop media if you hate it that much.
if you're doing 3 a levels, and you hate media, and you LOVE sociology, then may be switch media with sociology.

it may seem hard to catch up, but because genuine interest increases motivation, persistence, and effective learning strategies, loving the subject can make it easier to get back on track.

it can be quite hard to get good grades in subjects you're not enthusiastic about because staying motivated, focused, and patient with the material feels like an uphill battle.

what's your plan for the future? Choose based on what degree/job you want! But yeah I'd recommend critical thinking, it increases your productivity and it's basically like putting an elixir pump in the back.

What if I learn how to do the questions and enjoy it? Is it possible to start enjoying it or find a way to enjoy it?

Also how will I know if I’ll enjoy a subject that I want to switch to

then maybe, how about watching videos from experts at a level media. these might help you understand how to answer questions better.
or maybe try answering past paper questions and looking at the mark scheme?
