University of Nottingham MPharm 2026-2027 applicant

Hi everyone I am currently year 13 students considering apply Pharmacy undergraduate in University of Nottingham . My predict grade is ABB A in Chem , Bs in Bio and Maths alongside I have A* in my first language Alevel and EPQ. I know Uni of Notts need AAA for pharmacy is that still worth it I apply Notts give it a try ?

Hi there! Wonderful to hear you are interested in Pharmacy here at Nottingham ^-^

There is flexibility when it comes to predicted grades because they are just that, predicted! Not achieved. It can vary course to course, but for Pharmacy if you are predicted at least ABB we would definitely still encourage an application from you.

Any offer made will still be on the basis of our standard requirements of AAA (Subject to contextual offers and the likes, an A in your EPQ could reduced it to AAB for example!) - But the fact your predicted slightly below will not be a disadvantage. The best thing to do is have a good think on what your actually predicted vs what you think you can actually achieve and go from there.

We would love to see an application from you in the future - But regardless all the best! 🙂

Heyy im in year 13 too predicted AAB B in maths As in bio and chem and got a interview plus i think the A star in another language should help

Hi would I be considered if my predicted grade is AAC as I’m retaking and I got a C in psych but I’m not retaking Psych also would I be considered if I applied to science with foundation year which can progress me onto pharmacy with AAC or would it be have to be ABC

Hiya Tasfiaxxx! Wonderful to hear you are also interested in studying Pharmacy with us.

We do consider re-sits, but there is a caveat that you achieved at least BCC in your first sitting. AAB/ABB Predicted grades can be considered, but the requirements would still be AAA so if you are not retaking Psychology you might need to consider the foundation course instead.

Generally where we can you are considered up and down, meaning if you don't meet the Pharmacy requirements we may still consider you for the foundation and vice versa. It's not guaranteed, but hopefully gives you an idea!
