Cambridge college

I'm an international student in yr 12. I wanna apply for econ at cambridge/lse. I've heard that the interview style changes and that might make some colleges easier to get into. Idh the option to take fm and I've seen people on here with all 9s in gcse and insane work experiences and idh that opportunity, so seeing them doubt if they'd get in makes me wonder if I'm delusional. All I can stack up on is my grades(which are not so good atm), readings and essays, tmua as in can help me compensate for the lack of fm and I'm the founder and Co lead of my school’s econ club. I'm currently working to start a newlsetter.

It is not essential to have straight 9's, work experience or to have done furthers maths to get into Cambridge. However, because the course is so competitive ( 10 applicants for each place) you will be up against people who have these things.
As you say, best thing you can do if you want to apply is focus on what you can influence. Try to get best predicted grades you can ( most who get offers will be predicted above the entry requirements), work hard for TMUA and super curriculars ( these are meant to demonstrate your commitment and passion to the subject - doesn't matter if you don't have the same opportunities as some others).
If you look at the Cambridge uni website, you will see colleges do have slightly different entry requirements - I suggest you read through these carefully and make sure you apply to a college whose entry requirements you can meet ( they do not all require further maths).
If you think you can meet entry requirements and you want to go to Cambridge then you should absolutely apply! But bear in mind that both Cambridge- and LSE- are extremely competitive and consider applying to some less competitive options as well.
All the best for your future!
