Hi! Does anyone know when Liverpool send us the outcome of our interviews for veterinary medicine? I did my interview today and I'm already stressing 🥲. Any info would be much appreciated, thank you!

Hi! I think the offers will come out around 6 weeks after the interview. How did yours go? Was there anything bad topics on it?

Oh wow that's a while lol. Thanks!! Mine went alright I think, I personally didn't think any of the topics were that bad but I've seen other people say they found it bad so I guess it depends? Good luck for yours!

Yeah they can take up to 6 weeks, so you might know sooner! Thanks!! Do you have tips on things I should revise or look over, some people have been saying that there has been really weird questions?

The questions are quite random! I recommend reading the RCVS code of conduct as I found it very helpful. They don't really have a right or wrong answer, I think they're just looking at how you would approach the question. Hope this helps :smile:

They want to see your critical thinking and who you are as a person, perhaps what they wouldn’t be able to discern from your application.

I went into the interview stressed and left feeling much lighter. Everyone who asked the questions were so lovely which put me at ease!

Yes I 100% agree. I was going into it thinking that it was going to be cold, but seeing real life people ask the questions made me a lot less stressed. I hope it went great for you and everyone else!!

Oh was it not any automated messages? I thought you would just hear a recording of someone asking a question and then would just have to speak for 4 minutes

I did my interview for liverpool on the 30th of november last year and got my outcome on the 15th of january, it’s a lengthy process and I know how tough it is, i struggled quite a lot last year with the anxiety and anticipation of outcomes, just be kind to yourself and take it easy, good luck 🫶🏻

Six weeks doesn't sound so bad honestly I am fully expecting to not hear from Bristol until late march. Goodness knows for H&K and RVC 🤣🥴

So yes, they were pre-recorded messages from faculty. They had a video where they would ask the question aloud, and then there was a little chat-bubble after where it would be written down. You have 4 minutes to answer each one, and there were 6 questions total. I was definitely expecting people to be cold, but nobody was!

Something as well to note is you download the recorded footage of your responses, just in case there’s a technical issue, you can send them the footage of your interview. I think I did well, then re-watched my responses and laughed at myself a lot. I’m an American, so I’m worried my “aw shucks” enthusiasm doesn't make the committee go “ew look at this silly American” but we’ll see!

I checked my downloads and only one of my Liverpool question answers (Q2) is there and the practice question. I may just be delusional but does this mean Liverpool may have only got one of my question responses?

Hi! I still haven't heard anything back yet regarding the outcome of the interview but I assume if this was an issue for them they would contact us, so hopefully everything is okay 🤞🏻. Good luck to your daughter!

I got an offer in mid december! They will send you an email before it comes through on ucas so keep an eye.

Has your offer come through on UCAS yet? I've have the confirmation that the form and ID have been received but my actual offer isn't on UCAS yet.
