alevels help

im picking my alevels and im debating between art and design, biology, history and english lit.
I am 100% sure about biology but stuck on what two others to pick?
For context, i am predicted a 8 in biology, 8 in english lit and a 8 in history. I also take art gcse.

My original plan was Biology, english lit and art and design.
My aim is to go into a law degree after alevel but would history be a better pick instead of art? I do really love art and think it would be a nice 'break' from the content heavy subjects. Also i thought it might be useful incase i change my mind and go into something like journalism or graphic design?

However, if i do go into law, would biology, english lit and art and design be a strong enough alevel combo?

Im not sure but for a law degree most unis would prefer two essay based subjects so perhaps picking history and english lit would be a good decision . I was predicted the same for gcse and got accepted onto my a level courses with a 9 in english lit . Yes it can be content heavy at time but history and english lit are strongly reccomended for building up crucial skills you may need in a law degree . Choose which a levels you enjoy as that will make you motivated to succeed . At the end of the day if you dislike any of your a level subjects I'm sure your sixth form or college will help you move to a different subject . Hope this helps .

Hi!

Hope you are well, imogen has gave some great advice!

I would also recommend doing a levels that you enjoy and are going to do well in!

I did a level sport, psychology and criminology as i planned to do criminology at uni but i switched to criminal law! It depends on what unis you apply for as they will all have different ucas entry points but if you do well in any of your choices and passes the entry points you should have a great chance of getting in.

If you don't like your a-levels make sure to switch early on as the close to a level you get the more content you will need to catch up on!

Hope this helps and a massive good luck!
