I don’t know what to do in college to get into med school

I am very confused about college, I have seen single courses like medical science which in the description they say I could get into a med school with those qualifications but then I also see people saying I need 3 A levels to get into med school. Can someone help clear up what I will 100% need for this career

hii, on the courses I’ve seen (which I will link), most universities want 3 A-levels for medicine, or the IB.
they also most commonly ask for an alevel in chemistry as a requirement, and another 1-2 sciences are recommended. however it does differ from course to course.

Hi,

Most, if not all, UK medical schools will ask for A-levels in Biology and Chemistry, along with a third subject that isn’t general studies. A-levels are usually the best option because they keep your choices open and meet the entry requirements at medical schools. While some colleges offer courses like Medical Science that claim to lead to medicine, universities often still prefer the traditional A-level route. A few may accept certain BTECs or access courses, but this is less common and tends to come with extra conditions.

The best thing you can do is check the specific entry requirements for the universities you’re interested in on their websites.

Hope this helps,

I checked what the university I want to go to says and they claim I need 3 A levels with 2 being chemistry and biology. The third can be anything as long as I get an A
