what were your higher grades and predicted grades like?

did st andrews give you a conditional offer? and are you a widening access student?
also what were your nat 5 grades like? because on their website it says you need B's in english and a subject from biology chem, geography etc - none of my nat 5's are on that list😀

Yes, I got a conditional for an A at psychology this year. My nat 5s were AABCD, but I also didn't have a nat 5 from that list, which is why I think they gave me a conditional on psychology since thats on the list. yes, I am a widening access student. Also, don't be sorry for the questions. I'm honestly so happy to talk to people who are also applying there. Are u doing any highers that are on the list as they I'll probably make u a conditional offer on one of them instead of your nat 5 as they understand that sometimes people go straight to higher level or some schools don't offer certain nat5s like psychology.

i think i worded it wrong actually - i did do nat 5s on the list but i got C's in them 💔
my nat 5 grades were ABCCCD ( A in english and a B in business but thats not on the list)
i done highers in english math business history and chemistry and got AAABB so hopefully that cancels out my nat5s 🙂
im also a widening access student / i qualify for the "guaranteed offer scheme" thing but im very worried about my application because im applying for maths, but my personal statement revolved around chemical engineering 😥

Ahh, I also got an A in nat5 English and B in business, haha. But I applied for psychology and history at St andrews when my personal statement and reference mainly revolved around history and politics, and they still gave me an offer, so I wouldn't worry too much about that.

how long did st andrews take to reply?

I think it was 2 weeks for me, but all my unis replied really quickly
