Hi I applied a few weeks ago for manchester uni, I got an interview a few days after my application and got an offer the day after my interview so they can be quite quick if you have applied early but don't worry if it takes a while since they can take longer with more applicants. For birmingham i got an interview around two weeks after sending my application. goodluck 😋

Honestly, I don't remember any of the specific questions since at the time i thought I did really bad so I tried to forget everything but the questions I got asked were pretty common. I could you give you a list of questions I used to practice:
Why pharmacy and why at Manchester uni?
Why not medicine/dentistry?
How is pharmacy changing?
Name three drugs and how they work?
What is antihistamine and how does it work?
How does penicillin work?
How does antibiotic resistance occur?
What is insulin and how it works?
And make sure to include GPhC standards in your answers, wishing u lots of luck

Hi,

Universities can differ in how long it takes to send out interview invitations, but it’s usually a few weeks.

To prepare for any pharmacy school interview, it’s helpful to review your interest in the course, why you chose that university, GPhC standards, situational judgement or ethical scenarios, organic chemistry (chemical structures) and basic pharmaceutical calculations.

Hope this helps,
