Alternative revision techniques

Hi, I'm currently studying psychology, biology and geography and I would like to pursue marine biology in uni. I am really struggling on how to revise in yr12 and would like to know any alternative revision types to flashcards and mindmaps as I really cannot get my head around them and I generally just dislike the repetitiveness. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm in a bit of a ditch right now in terms of how well I think I will perform when exams arrive. Thanks

I would recommend other active techniques such as blurting etc for biology. I would say to gamify your revision techniques to make it more engaging and less 'repetitive' and therefore less potentially boring! Maybe do a match game for definitions in biology (as there are lots of them).
Hoped this gives you some insight on where you could potentially start xx

@Geo Lover 7 are you able to help out here for geo please? TIA

As Trickia says for bio, blurting is a good technique for geography. Have you thought of quizzing yourself on definitions etc or teaching others as these are less repetitive.
