UCLan Vet Med

Hey just wondering if anyone else has yet to hear anything back from UCLan, I noticed a lot of people have been given supplementary forms and offered interviews.
I’m also wondering if anyone else’s application isn’t showing up on the UCLan portal? I went to recheck my email from when I first applied and saw that it said my UCAS application should be up within 48 Horus, however it’s been 2 months now and it’s still not showing. Anyone else have this issue ?

Hi @emily223,

Thank you for your message and patience. I'm sorry that you haven't heard anything yet and are struggling with your application portal. I am aware that not all applicants are invited for their interviews at the same. Interviews started in December and will be help next year too. In regards to your application portal issue, I would recommend speaking with our admissions team via [email protected] or by calling the team on +44 (0)1772 89 2400 (Option 1). Ringing will get you a faster response.

If you do have any further questions, feel free to direct message us on here or our socials and we can assist you further.

Our vet school have a great Instagram @unilancashire_vets, full off interesting behind the scenes of the courses we offer and you can also message the team if you have any queries.

Hope this helps, ^Zac

My application isn't showing on the portal either I emailed a while back to ask but did not get an answer I just presumed that they are immensely busy now (going through applications/interviews and I believe its exam week as well for students on the course and they've just had winter graduation). Too busy to migrate UCAS applications across. They definitely have it and that is what matters. ☺️

Hi guys, my application is on the Lancashire portal, it said my application had been sent to the admissions team on the 5th November but haven’t heard anything back yet. starting to get a bit worried since i’ve heard many people getting interviews already for Uclan.
I can understand they are super busy right now just want to reassure myself by seeing if anyone’s in the same boat or know on average how long it takes for them to get back after admissions team have had it sent?

She really enjoyed the interviews- she felt like they were really trying to get to know her and see what she was capable of rather than trying to trip her up. A couple of the stations are traditional interview scenarios the rest were following instructions/tasks looking for the ability to follow instructions but common sense too

Hi everyone,

Thank you for your messages and patience. My apologies for the issues with applications showing up within the portal. I completely understand what it can feel like waiting to hear back as I was student before. Please rest assured that our admissions team will get back to you as soon as they can regarding your emails. They have been extremely busy with January intakes currently.

The interviews are being sent out in batches, with more available in the new year so there will be more opportunities for interviews. If you do have any questions or need further advice, feel free to direct message us with further details and I'll do my best to help. In the meantime, if you do have any further questions or would like an update, I would recommend ringing the admissions team as that will get you a faster response. You can call them on +44 (0)1772 892 400 (Option 1 for UK applicants, Option 2 for international).

We do also have a handy page with tips on preparing for interviews, tailored information for vet applicants and much more here.

Hope this helps and thank you for your ongoing patience! 🙂
Best wishes, ^Zac

Hi there, thank you for your message and patience. I have just heard back from our admissions and their office closes 5pm on 24th December (Phones close at 4pm) and will re-open at 9am on the 5th January 2026. We have interview dates both before Christmas and in the New Year running through to March 2026. Interview invites are sent out in waves based on the volumes of applications we receive and the high number who are shortlisted for interview. Hope this helps, ^Zac
