English language NEA language investigation coursework

hey, I'm doing my language investigation coursework but I'm really struggling on write my data analysis (main body) - I don't know how I would write it and how to include theories. I don't know if I am juggling too many quotes from transcript. my language investigation is on how Zohran Mamdani constructs representations of ethnicity and multicultural identity in his 2025 winning speech. I am going to analyse around five quotes (extracts) and analyse the language methods and the representations. similar to aaa English language representations and meanings question.

You’re question is on the more difficult side because you chose to include representations, since you’ve included it in your question you need to go over some representation theorists in your analysis, this can be really annoying since English lang especially for AQA don’t have many theorists for representation. If I was in your position I would change my question to something like “how does Zohran Mamdani use language to appeal to an ethnic audience” or “how does Zohran Mamdani use persuasion to advocate his opinions on ethnic groups” these questions help make it easier for you to incorporate your question in the analysis. the mark schemes are very strict on the use of theorists so it’s important you mention a minimum of 5 and remember to refer back to them consistently in all your paragraphs. If you’re struggling on analysis I advise using a loose PEEL structure. If you’re really passionate about your question and don’t want to change it you could still find a way to incorporate some EL theorists but you would also need to go off course and find some representation theorists, you could look into media A level since I know they have many.
