Student finance saying I'm not enrolled even so I have been for a few months now

I recently applied for household income maintenance loan as I plan to move out in semester B. My maintenance loan got accepted but it says next to the payment due date 'Awaiting Confirmation - Your university or college need to confirm to us that you’ve registered on your course. They’ll do this when you start your course. We’ll pay you after we get this.' and says on the home page I got incomplete actions (enrolling) how do I fix this?
You need to contact your uni and inform them they need to notify SFE of your enrollment. Probably either your student registry or the finance office.

Essentially what that message means is your uni has not confirmed to SFE that you have enrolled - as it does not automatically update when you complete your enrollment through your unis webportal(s) etc, the uni then need to go and do something separately to notify SFE.

It's basically just a bit of admin process for you and the uni, just find out who you need to contact and get on them. I had the same thing earlier this academic year myself at my uni.

I'd def crack on with it ASAP though as most unis will be going into their winter shut down period in a few weeks time which might delay things if it's not done before that!

Hi RenKolao,

This means that your university still need to sent the electronic confirmation of registration through to SFE to release your payments. If you contact them directly, they should be able to send this through. Once received, this will update within 1-3 working days then around 3 working days for the payment to arrive in the bank.

Thanks, Clare
