What Undergrad Course should I take?

Hey! I’m currently in year 12, I got all grade 9s on 11 subjects at GCSE and I’m hoping to become a Quant Trader/Analyst. I’m wondering what the best course would be to go down this route? I’m taking Further Math, Math, Physics and Philosophy at A Level, and I’m really enjoying the further math statistics and pure stuff. I don’t know if that’s relevant or not but there you go. LSE seems like the best choice for being a Quant though, as it’s smack dab in the middle of London and any company who wants an undergraduate would likely go there, I’m just unsure what course would be most useful to guarantee me a place. If you have anymore questions, just ask. Thanks!

The strongest courses you can take are Maths and Physics for obvious reasons, with Physics being maths-heavy and having problem-solving and abstract concepts which are useful skills for quants. Target universities would simply be the best universities in the UK e.g. Oxbridge, Imperial, UCL and LSE.

maths and econ, straight econ, efds (imperial), morse (warwick), straight maths, maths and stats, comp sci, maths and physics, fms (LSE)

any of the above courses should be fine for u. avoid straight econ tho cos i think straight maths is preferred for quant over econ. aim for LSE, imperial, cambridge, UCL or warwick

You can apply to The Judge Business School in Year 3 I believe and it is very intense too.

Management Studies at the Judge Business School
You can't apply to this course until you're at Cambridge. You would usually apply when you have completed one year or more of your original Cambridge course.

You should contact your College’s Admissions Office if you’re thinking of changing your course. They will be able to give you advice and explain how changing courses works.
