Psychology of Mental Health MSc

I’m looking to start the masters course of Psychology of Mental Health MSc at the University of York. How many days/hours a week in lectures/seminars are there in this course? Wanting to know as I will be commuting from afar, thanks!

Hi @xemc

It's great to hear you're considering studying at York!

I've put your question to my colleagues in the Department of Psychology. As soon as I get a reply, I'll let you know!

Hi again @xemc 😀

The Department of Psychology has replied to me: there are three taught modules per semester, so you can expect at least three days / six hours per week of teaching on campus. Additionally, there are contact hours required for your pastoral and dissertation supervision throughout the academic year.

As this MSc is a full-time course, the Department wouldn't recommend commuting from a very long distance, how long do you think your commute will be? We have support and advice for commuting students available on our website

I hope this helps! If you've got any other questions, feel free to add them to this thread ❤️
