If it's only a bit, don't worry...my teeth are like that all the time. As in, I can move them back and forth quite substantially if I push on them.

If it starts feeling like it's going to fall out, see a dentist, but I doubt that your tooth would just fall out unless you got hit in the mouth or you have gum disease or something.

if ur really worried go see your dentist

no idea if it will "re-set" itself, but given that they can save teeth which have been totally knocked out it might well be worth going to see your dentist. Good luck.

I've suddently noticed one of my bottom adult teeth (3rd from centre on the right) is a bit wobbly, and feels as though it has come loose from the gum, and that it could potentially be pulled out.

This is quite a horrible feeling I have to say, don't wanna end up with dentures at the age of eighteen.

Will it re-set itself? Or what can a dentist even do for it?

Best way to answer that would be to go see a dentist.

Uh-oh.

See a dentist if it hurts.

Ive had this before it feels really strange, but it has gone back to how it was before, i guess the best to do is if it feels like its going to fall out, or does see your dentist asap via an emergency appoitment.

I have dreams about this..really freaks me out and my teeth feel weird for a day. But see a dentist!

I'd make an appointment with the dentist.
Far too paranoid about teeth, but still, it's always reassuring to get them checked by a professional.

It will probably re-set its self, but even if it doesn't you wont be able to tell! I cracked my front upper tooth, and subsequently had to have root canal on it. You can't tell in the slightest  (well, you can now coz it's gone slightly greyish, but that's coz of the root canal lol)

If it's wobbly and needs pulling out, you have 3 options:

1) Have a gap forever
2) Have an implant (about ÂŁ1500 for one tooth)
3) Have a bridge (much cheaper)

Or a denture but I don't think you'd really like that

Right, i'll try and get one but it'll probably be difficult over the festive period.

Quite worried to brush my teeth before bed tonight incase it aggravates it. Not a teeth fan on the whole...

OK did my teeth and it's still intact.

When I shut my mouth and suck in my teeth (if you get me....) im sure I can feel it move though. Eek.

I also have such dreams :s-smilie:. The weird thing is I'm totally not vain in my day to day life and don't give a :santa2::santa2::santa2::santa2: about my teeth haha. But in my dreams I get total nightmare about it!

You might have an inflamed gum around it which is making it shrink off, make sure you are flossing and cleaning it properly and it might be an idea to get some mouthwash for treating gum problems. Best advice though is to see a dentist, it might not need to be taken out but if it does there is stuff they can do about it. If it gets more and more wobbly then you could choke on it if it comes out when you are asleep.

Mine go wobbly quite a lot....but they always kinda 're-set' themselves-but saying that I do tend to lay off the fizzy drinks and sugar for a while lol

My tooth was wobbly for a bit after I chipped half of it. I've had loads of problems with it but it's not fallen out (yet) so it should be fine. If there is pain or the wobbling is unusually large then see a dentist, there could be something above it putting pressure on it (in my case, an abscess, yayyyyy :shifty: ).

Also, to the people that are having dreams, dreams about your teeth falling out are a common one that means you're scared of getting old I think...I remember something like that from a GCSE assembley or something anyway.

OMG, me too. I had a dream the other night where all my teeth felt wobbly and they all just fell out in my mouth and I was remarkably calm about it (in the dream) until I woke up in a panic feeling around my gums to make sure they were all there :o: .

not necessarily about getting old - those dreams can just reflect a general state of anxiety/uncertainty in your waking life, e.g. exams, going to uni, starting a new job etc. Such a relief to wake up & find it hasn't happened though!

Stop moving it or playing with it. See a dentist.

I have a filling on my front tooth where it's got a huge chip it in (like a third of the tooth) and I could feel that coming loose. Started playing with it, like moving it.

Annnddd it came off. Sharp pointy front tooth is never good.
