Warwick Discrete Maths

Hi everyone,

Applying to Warwick Discrete Maths as a UK home (non-contextual) applicant.

Predicted A-levels: 3 A* (Maths, Further Maths, Physics) GCSEs: 9s: Maths, English Lit, History, Electronics 8s: Sciences + Further Maths 7s: Computer Science, Language

scored 4.1 in TMUA this year.

I’d love to hear from anyone who has applied, or has experience with Warwick’s selection for example, typical TMUA scores, advice on applications, or anything useful for someone in this position.

Hello,
I have applied to Warwick too.
Haven’t heard anything from them yet.
I have read on here that a couple of students have got offers.

Your profile looks strong for Warwick. They normally expect applicants to be predicted at least A* in Maths and A in Further Maths , so your three A* predictions are already above what they usually look for.
TMUA is accepted by Warwick , and they do not set a fixed score, so your 4.1 can still be considered. Warwick looks at the whole application, not just one number.
