English language

Today i did my December mocks for Year 11 English language paper 2 . I focused more on question 5 and it said to “write a letter to a newspaper editor and instead i was really tired and misread the question and wrote a newspaper article and i just started it off by using a rule of three and ending with a rule of three . How many marks did i lose and whats this going to affect ? I have already gotten good collage grades for my school so will that assessment matter is its a December mocks ?
Please any answers will help me i am so stressed and cried so much .
Thanks

HEY DIV(a)!
I'm really sorry to hear that, I feel tremendously for you. Mocks can be stressful; trust me, I KNOW. For now I would take a small break (if possible), and do something fun!
But I'll tell you that for the 40 marker you have AO5 which provides marks for TAP (text type, audience and purpose) so you MAY have lost some marks. HOWEVER, there still may be hope. It can depend on your teacher, so I would go and tell them the situation and ask what may happen.
I wish you all the luck!!! :console:
