uni predicted gradesvs entry requirements

i want to go to Uni of Huddersfield for accounting and finance the entry requirements are BBC- BBB or 112-120 UCAS points however my predicted grades are CCC but i know i can do better and on the website it says most common grade achieved by students accepted over the last few years is CCD do i have a chance of getting a conditional offer anytime soon or not?

Those website grades are misleading as that is the lowest that Huddersfield accepted on Results Day - not what applicants applied with as predicted grades - and you will not know why they went that low in August, ie. mitigating circumstances, special entry schemes etc. However, it is worth having one choice above your predicted grades, and Huddersfield is not competitive for the many of its courses. Just make sure that your other choices are at your predicted grades and with at least one choice that is below your predicted grades.

all my choices require bcc at the lowest and bbb at the highest and my predicted are ccc however i have recived a conditional offer from leeds beckett of ccc which i smy second option anyway so i should be ok. thank you.

i would recommend moving the grades up by talking with your teachers. although those universities arent competitive, they can reject you if you are below their requirements. i would recommend to get your grades up to at least BBB

Inflating predicted grades is never a good idea. UCAS research shows that most predicted grades are over optimistic so asking to inflate them even further really is setting yourself up for misery on Results Day.

i know that but OP wants to a go to a certain uni and has a course in mind and their grades are below entry requirement for that course at every uni. whats the best solution here?
im not saying to inflate them, im advising OP to show proof to their teachers that OP will work hard to get the grades they need, and teachers would then decide whether to move up or not , perhaps through past assessments as well
