Rejected after interview – midwifery + autism

Hi, I’m autistic and was rejected by Northumbria Newcastle for Midwifery only 45 minutes after my interview. Has anyone else had a fast decision and felt it was unfair? Did being neurodiverse affect your application? Any support appreciated 💙

Hi @Grace_cat08 I'm really sorry that happened, getting a rejection so quickly after an interview is upsetting for anyone and it's completely understandable that you're questioning whether your neurodiversity played a part. I am not neurodiverse but I can say some universities make their decisions following from completed scoring grids so a fast response may often mean the decision was processed quickly not that they dismissed you personally.
