Revsion resources for a levels

Im in year 12 and I have mocks coming up in jan. I was planning to do my revision resources to use before my mocks but I haven’t spent anytime on them (my fault I should’ve been making them at the get go). If I just use the notes if made in my book in class to revise for my mocks in jab and start making my flashcards, mindmaps after and ideally get them done for the content I’ve done so far by march / April would that be okay or would I be behind? I find I don’t really learn well without flashcards, I struggle with just notes, so I feel as though I’ve put myself at a disadvantage it making them from September.

Hi @Emilia Brown. Do not worry, your definitely not behind at all. Revising by using class notes for your mocks is completely okay and understandable and also just a side note. Majority of students do not have their flashcards written up this year early. When you motioned flashcards and mind maps that's actually a great way to revise, espically if your aiming to finish them off by March or April time. This seems like a realistic goal and it will help keep you on track. I hope this advice validated your feelings! Good luck with everything!😀

one method i used when revising for A-Levels was to keep the flashcards that i made focused to things I frequently made the most mistakes on. So i would use past papers and my previous mocks to construct the flashcards. And then use active recall and past paper questions to revise for the mocks + actual exams.
