alternative course offer at bristol––guarenteed offer?

hey, so i applied to Bristol for medicine with an IB predicted of 41 (776) and an MYP5 score of 50/56 and they rejected me and gave me 6 alternative courses..

for reference: my HLs are Math AA, Physics and Chem

ended up picking cellular and molecular medicine (one of the alternative courses) is my admission guaranteed? or do they at least consider me a strong enough candidate?

No its not a guaranteed offer, but its very likely given that they are clearly need more applicants than they have in order to fill that course.

CMM is a useful degree as its very flexible re. pathways and highly employable - but only accept this course-switch if CMM actually interests you

Do NOT study Cellular and Molecular Medicine unless you have a job in mind where it is required. It is demanding. Trust me on this, I know people who did it and I looked at their work at the time in first year and it was scary hard. Made medicine look like a picnic in my view.

Take year out, look at my thread about not getting into medical school and re-apply.
