U. S. Student submitting UCAS application before final scores?

Hi guys!! I’m applying through UCAS and the schools I’m applying to said they take honors/college level course grades as A-level equivalents, so I’m trying to submit my current A in two AP classes (along with my ACT). Because I don’t have my final grades that come out in May 2026, for qualification date do I put the date of the semester grade or the date of when I graduate and have a final grade? I’m really frustrated with the system, I don’t understand what I’m doing. Thank you for any help you can offer!!

I believe you should put the date of when you will get your actual results, you said May 2026, and not the date when you will graduate.

If your current school/ college has told you what your expected grade will be, then add those, you can change this later, when you receive your actual grading. The schools/ colleges will contact you later on to submit all the documents etc.

You can also contact the school/ college directly via email and ask them if you are stuck.

Thank you much this is really helpful! Mostly I’m submitting as a semester grade, which will be finalized in about two weeks, but I’m confident on both of them. Because it’s a semester grade and will be finalized then should I put December 2025?

Yes. They will know its provisional and the final results will be in May. Adding your December grade is fine.

You list the grade as "pending" and your academic referee should state what the predicted (expected) grade is for that. Make sure to inform them they need to include this as part of their reference.
