has anyone here applied to UAL in round 1? i finished my application mid november and am still waiting to hear back from them

Hi @kezey , I totally get how you’re feeling while waiting for the application results ... I was pretty anxious myself until I finally got the interview call. My one tip is to keep an eye on your UAL portal; sometimes updates show up there before the official email arrives.
For Round 1, the outcomes are released no later than 20 March 2026, so just hang in there a bit longer. The timeline can vary depending on things like the number of applications, how competitive the round is, and whether your course requires a portfolio review. It basically means they’re taking the time to go through everything carefully. You should see something reflected on your portal soon.

hi, thanks for the kind reply! am i supposed to be able to see the status of my application? because on my portal, there isn't any section that allows me to see the current status of my app (there's a "Decision Response" section which is currently blank, and "Conditions" section which says N/A)

That’s totally normal. The UAL portal doesn’t show a detailed, live status of your application while it’s still being reviewed. The “Decision Response” section will stay blank until a decision has actually been made, and “Conditions” won’t show anything unless you receive an offer.
I know it can feel a bit confusing, but there’s nothing to worry about at this stage. Since you applied in Round 1, I’d recommend checking your portal again closer to 20 March 2026, as that’s the latest date by which all Round 1 outcomes will be released. Your decision will appear there once it’s ready, sometimes even before you get the official email.

Hi, I applied in round 1 as well and have a i/v next week if that helps. I heard about two weeks ago. I’m sure they stagger them though over Jan/feb. Good luck!
