Hi there,

I moved your thread to the Secondary School / Sixth Form forum, so you hopefully get better replies and someone a little more knowledgeable than me replies, but in a nutshell:

It's very drastic to drop out of year 13, and it might be complicated depending on your age, because legally all under 18s need to be in some sort of education or training setting (like an apprenticeship), so there might be an expectation for you to have something lined up before you leave your sixth form. If you're over the age of 18, then I assume you can just walk out, but I can't imagine it will be an easy process and you'll probably have several people questioning your decision.

I appreciate that there must be something important triggering this, but have you thought this through? This is a pretty big decision, and you've got so little time left in sixth form that, is it really worth it at this stage? Is there someone you know and trust in real life that you can talk to? Failing that, have you talked to your school's pastoral support about what is troubling you?
