I enrolled into a Law course at Open university
My student finance part time loan has been approved
I decided to change the course to biomedical science. Still the same university Open University.
Do I need to amend the course on student finance or will the university do it for me?

Hi there, if you have already started your original course, you would just need to contact the Open University to request that they submit a change of circumstances request to update your course change. This can be done electronically and once received is currently taking an estimated 22 working days to update. Stephen

I have not started yet. The course starts in February.

Hi again, ok, if the course has not started then you can complete the CO2 form and upload this via your online account to update the course information. The required form can be found here:

This will allow you to update your course information.

thank you for your reply. Will the university not be able to update it for me when they change the course over?

Hi again, the university can change this over after the original course start date, but that would most likely cause a delay. As the course has not started as of yet, completing the form and submitting this in advance can have this updated prior to the start of the course would mean that the payments can be issued on time. Stephen
