My Favourite Places to go Christmas Shopping as a Student

Hi everyone,

As we are approaching December and nearly the end of first term!! I thought I would provide some recommendations of places to go Christmas shopping.

Typo. I feel I always find fun unique gifts in here. Student discount available!•Scribbler. Great for funny gifts and Jellycats. Student discount available!!

Happy Socks. A classic gift.

Lush. My personal fave.

Hotel chocolate. Perfect yummy treats. Even do an espresso martin mix, which I would recommend.

Urban Outfitters. Great home ware and accessories. Student discount available!!

Søstrene Grene. The cutest shop ever with home wear, crafts, treats and more.

Between the lines. A lovely gift shop with really special unique gifts. Plus Jellycats!! You can also get a loyalty card, perfect if you have lots of gifts to buy.

TKMaxx. Always lots of unique gift sets for great prices. The jewellery section is also really special.

Boots. They do a 3 for 2 on most gift sets, plus you can spend any points you have already saved up on your loyalty card. Student discount available!!

Primark. A fab affordable choice with lots of home wear, beauty and accessories.

Flying Tiger. Affordable fun things that you didn’t realise you wanted! Perfect for secret Santa.

Miniso. The cutest accessories, stationary, homeware and blind boxes. I feel blind boxes are another great secret Santa idea.

Body shop. You can often get deals on beauty products and create bundles. Student discount available!!

I would also recommend independent gift shops, jewellery shops and markets in your local area. A good way to support your community.

I hope this gives you some inspiration and ideas. Feel free to add more below. Happy shopping!!

Nice suggestions! - definitely second Primark and TK Maxx.

May I please add...

Whittards tea shop - They are pricey but their shops often to free samples which can be nice to try!

Christmas Markets - not necessarily for a shopping spree as they can be very expensive, but looking around your city's Xmas Markets is a lovely way to soak up the atmosphere and get into the christmas spirit if you're not quite feeling it yet.

Tescos - Sounds a bit silly to add a supermarket but often the prices for gifts are lower than many high street shops, they have a nice range and close to christmas will be selling some great food including shelled nuts, chocolate reindeers, and also packets of veg for around 10p!

Here at Bath we also have one of Britain's oldest tea shops, Sally Lunn's which sells many varieties of tea and Bath buns from a recipe hundreds of years old! Nice for a Christmas treat which won't cost you too much 🙂

Happy shopping folks!

Heya grace (:

Just wanted to add on, for some of my prezzies been looking at concerts and other fun things to do with my friends and also places to go out to eat! - feel like around chrsitmas with it being super busy with exams it gives me a great chance to catch up with people and get us something fun to both do!😊

also been to a few independent record shops to look at vinyls - great fun for getting gifts + also lets you see if theres anything going on around the area as some of these have artist events (: - places like assai records are great for smaller events for a fun day out with friends 💙
