Ecf for GCSE resits?

My grandad who was my primary caregiver, raised me for ten years. he was diagnosed terminal lung cancer in year 7, i couldnt give care coz he was in another country that time, but he had few chemotherapy throughout my secondary school life which results his quater of his lungs were removed, grdually he adapted and rely on medication which is a lifelong supply needed and oxygen supply machine which he use every afternoon. However due to east asian culture issues, my family refused for me to express me struggles to my teachers , and ask to get along with the exams ; which means i dont have evidence which i was emotionally impacted, or even evidence to show i was absent from school or missing school work coz i still care abt my school and theres no reason to miss it coz i cannot practically give my grandad care. Idk if this ecf is enough to tell med or dent unis that this exam didnt show my full potential and theres reason why i did four gcse resits. I did a few research on each of the uni and their ecf policy, though i met the requirements of long term close family illness, idk if my case sound force coz they often expect long term situation as forseen and therer aint any sudden abruption happened in specific year in 11 rlly just my parents taking in turns to fly back and forth to china to visit him, however i couldnt coz my mum want to focus on my mock. Would this be a valid ecf? I do have evidence of my grandad medical note and evidcen of his uses of support overlaps my gcse year too;
