would it be unreasonable to ask my boyfriend for a break if we live together

it didn't work out well in the past, but im just ******* tired of my 'relationship duties' and pretending that everythings fine when its not, idc if hes dissapointed at this point but i cant deal with conflicts either

Breaks are usually a way of softening and easing into a breakup. I suppose there may be some practical challenges if you share a house as well

Yes unreasonable, if you want a break you need to take it in your own space and give the other person the same.

he always gets home pretty late anyway, so it wouldnt be that much of an issue, only during weekends

That's not what having your own space means and I think you know that fine well. You can't take your break up safe space in the same space as the person you want a break from, it's just taking the mick.

i did get space, in every sense, during the last three months while i was away. i guess what i mean is that i just don’t want to be with anyone physically right now
