how do i choose which university to firm

hi!!
ive recieved offers from my universities now, and im really stuck on deciding which one to choose.

my family and friends have obviously been telling me to go to edinburgh, but its extremely far from me and im quite unfamiliar with the city.
In dundee, i have family there so i like the idea of going to dundee university however does this put me at a big disadvantage in the job market?
for refrence im doing mechanical engineering

another question, if i study the BEng at dundee university, will i be able to apply to do the MEng at edinburgh?

you dont need to decide now, wait until youve had the opportunity to go to offer holder days and maybe explore the cities more

Hi @unknownnn7

I definitely agree offer holder days are very helpful to go to! Even just travelling there are seeing how easy it is to get from your uni town to home can help put things in prospective.

I also have a previous post I have made that you may find useful Tips on Making a University Choice - The Student Room

I hope this helps
