Contextual Offer Exeter

I’m thinking of substituting a uni for Exeter to study English. I found out that i may be eligible for contextual offer due to the college I got to and my postcode being in quantile 2. Is it likely that I will receive a contextual offer?

I have read the eligibility criteria already, which I have noticed i’m eligible due to my school and postcode, reducing the offer from AAB to BBB. My predicted grades are BBB, meeting the contextual offer grades, however is it worth still applying as i’m not sure that they’re going to give me the offer.

Yes it is worth applying if this is somewhere you want to study at and your other choices are reasonable 🙂

Definitely apply if you are contextual and have the predicted contextual grades. Good luck.

Thank you! I’m not too sure what to put as my first choice yet to be honest. I’m still waiting for Cardiff as it would be great as it’s a lot closer to me as it’s only an hour away. Exeter seems like a good choice in terms of the quality of the course but Cardiff is better for me in terms of the city vibe and socialising if that makes sense. I’m very stuck on what to pick😭

You have plenty of time to decide, so no need to rush and choose. Maybe go to the offer open days and see how you feel afterwards. I’m sure you’ll get an offer for Cardiff too. Consider accommodation cost, travel, activities/sport etc as well as the course.
Both great universities and you’ll have a brilliant time at either.
