Can someone help me ?

My wife has been offered a place on the BSc Adult Nursing course at the University of Roehampton, starting in February. She applied over the phone through the Roehampton Clearing hotline, not through UCAS. She completed the interview and was given an offer.

Roehampton told her she now needs to accept the offer through UCAS, so she created a UCAS application, completed it, and selected Roehampton as her first choice.

But when she checks her UCAS account, nothing has updated there is no offer showing. She has emailed Roehampton to explain the situation, but hasn’t heard back yet. She’s getting worried that she might lose her place because she didn’t originally apply through UCAS and doesn’t know if she needs to do anything else.

UK undergraduates are normally centrally processed by UCAS. For your wife's case, there is no practical difference between first applying through UCAS or ringing Roehampton. Did your wife has the contact or name of the interviewer, or her case/reference number with Roehampton? If so she may ring their Clearing hotline to check the progress.

Since your wife has completed a formal UCAS application for the 2026 cycle, she probably has 4 more choices. So why not adding few more choices in her application while waiting for Roehampton's formal offer? Good luck.
