Gcse Options and Further

Ok. Basically, we are picking gcse options, we've already went through 1 out of the 2 stages, so nothing is final.

I want to either do law at uni or accounting, ik opposite sides, but im really good at math and really interested/good at the humanities and languages/English. And ik gcses dont matter as much but I want to do history re and pshycology as my 3 options, and we have to pick a lang so french. Im scared I won't be able to do 2 humanities as they usually are on at the same time and im wondering if I can't should I do bussiness and then re after school?

I have 2 school options I have to pick a lang in one and not the other, so with the one I dont I would swap re for French.

Ok anyway, im wondering what I should do as im interested in to opposite degrees/jobs, and anyway I love humanities I would do all 3 if I could. Any help? Oh and can someone clear up the undergraduate and graduate difference and law degrees and whatnot. Its confusing

Hi so obviously GCSEs barely matter so I’m going to help with a level options and try and link with you picking your GCSEs if that makes sense? Accounting or Law right? For a levels to keep your options open so you can make the decisions at the end of year 12 do humanities + econ or business + maths (if you don’t do maths you’ll have limited options for where you can apply for university as someone accounting and finance course like it when you do maths). So using this as you’re interested in RE I mean if you really can’t do it for GCSEs you can do A level RE or philosophy (probably better to do philosophy but you don’t have to worry about that now). Honestly I don’t think you need to be too hang up on your options. History gcse gives more options for a levels compared to re and doing a language is considered “higher level” I hated French so I was forced to do graphic design and well that’s a whole story. To sum up yes do business instead of re and if you really want to you can do re for a levels although you’ll probably do philosophy. Fo a levels start thinking about doing these combos
Maths + psychology + econ (or business)
Maths philosophy + econ (or business)
econ + psychology +philosophy (or re)
This way you’ll have the option to apply for EITHER accounting or law

Thanks alot, although i can say now that I am more confident that im going to do law, I still need something backup, so I do agree with the point to do a level maths, and also a one year maths course that my school offers, also for a level re and philosophy is one subject in my school im pretty sure. Ill see how I do in gcse for physcology if I do really well I would do it for a level but if not I would replace it with English lit or history. Business is something im not that interested in mainly becuase our course is actually enterprise and only 1/6 of the course is financial.
