Hello! @aaa335 🙂
Firstly well done on your offer for an interview, you should be super proud!! 🙂

The format of the interviews will be in the MMI style, so you will go to different stations covering a variety of things like; your motivation for UEA, ethics, situational judgement, communication and graph analysis. You will go through 6 stations with about 5 minutes for each.
Some tips to help you perform your best:

Make sure your answers are structured. In order to achieve this you need to practice as much as you can. Practice with friends, family members, and even solo! The more practice you have the better you will be at formulating your answer to be clear and concise. As you get closer to the interview, make sure you practice more and more under timed conditions.

Make sure you have an answer for why you want to medicine and why at UEA.

Make sure your answers are reflective and not just descriptive. Really think about the questions you are asked.

On the day, make sure you arrive early, have eaten something an drank some water (as well as slept enough!) These may seem small but they can affect your performance hugely.

I hope this helps, do let me know if you have any questions!
Good luck!!! 🙂

Thank you so much !! I appreciate it do you do medicine ?
Also what is each station ? In my email it says. 6 mini interviews last around 40 minutes . Any other questions I should be prepared ?

Heya! Congratulations!! May I ask what were your stats?

Ah so sorry I meant 6 stations, I will change that!
I personally don't do medicine but I do have quite a few friends who do medicine!

Each station will cover a range of different skills including (but not limited to); communication and empathy, ethics, data interpretation, reflection questions and NHS knowledge.
UEA doesn't release its interview questions but when you practice questions I'd recommend you go over those main categories as well as other things that are likely to come up like your motivation to study medicine and why UEA.

I appreciate it is quite general but I would recommend you try to practice a bit of everything so you are prepared for any questions they may ask! You essentially want to show them that you have the potential to be a good doctor by highlighting the skills of a good doctor. Have a look at this website to get a more in-depth idea!
I hope this helps! Do let me know if you have any further questions! 🙂
Fatma.
