English Speaking Exam

Hi, I did my gcses and passed my english speaking exam, and passed english lit too but failed english language. apparently, I have to also redo my english speaking exam which I already passed because i failed language. Is this true?

You most likely don't have to redo it because exam boards allow you to "carry forward" your previous speaking grade. Just tell your college you want to use your old result, and they can switch your exam entry code so you skip the speech.

Hello. You don’t have to redo your English Speaking endorsement if you already passed it, even if you failed GCSE English Language. The reason for this is because the spoken language endorsement (Pass / Merit / Distinction / Not Classified) is separate from the GCSE English Language grade. It appears on your certificate independently.
