A-level Chemistry

Hello!

I’m wondering what I can do to maximise my chances at getting an A and possibly an A* in AQA A-level chemistry as a year 13.

Any suggestions are appreciated!
Thank you x

Okay, so when you're answering questions, remember:
-explain means you need to say "why", describe means listing the "features", and suggest means using what you've "learned."
-When studying past papers, figure out what you're bad at, check the course outline again, and search for questions that are alike.
-AQA tends to use similar question formats over and over.
-Keep a mistake log with correct mark scheme answers.
-Master calculations (moles, titrations, Kp, Kc, pH, Born-Haber) until automatic. Show all working.
-Use flashcards for organic mechanisms—curly arrows, reagents, conditions, products.
-Use precise terminology ("electron pair donor" not "gives electrons") for higher scores.
-Finish papers 10% early for checking.
Which topics are hardest for you?
