Bullying
I need some help I’m not sure what guidance I can give to my cousin I want to clear up a situation that happened a while ago because there have been a lot of lies and misunderstandings.
All names here are fake for privacy.
A few years ago, Zara was crying at school. When James asked what happened, Alice told him that a girl named “Sarah” from another school was planning to come beat them up. That wasn’t true at all, but Zara got scared because of what Alice said.
My cousin “Sarah” had no idea any of this was happening.
Out of nowhere, James messaged Sarah and started swearing at her. Sarah was confused and asked her primary school friend (who goes to Zara and Alice’s school) what was going on. She told her the rumours Alice had been spreading.
Sarah had never spoken to Zara or Alice at the time my cousin Sarah blocked zara she did have Alice but was unaware of her behaviour . She never threatened anyone or said anything about beating people up. Everything Alice told James was false.
James kept swearing at Sarah repeatedly. Sarah eventually swore back because she didn’t understand what was happening, and she reacted out of confusion and stress. She admits she shouldn’t have sworn, but she was being attacked for something she didn’t do.
James and his friend Matt then posted the messages on social media, making Sarah look like the bad person, even though she was reacting to their behaviour. To this day, Sarah still doesn’t know exactly what lies were told about her — only what her primary school friend explained to her.
Months later, Zara messaged Sarah apologising and asking to be friends. But Sarah blocked her because Zara kept causing unnecessary drama apologising one day and creating new problems the next.
The truth is, Zara cried originally because Sarah was applying to transfer to her school. She didn’t want Sarah to join, possibly because Sarah is close to her primary school friend. But Alice twisted the story into something completely different and made it look like Sarah was a threat.
Alice has even told people that Sarah “beats everyone up,” which is a total lie. Sarah has never said anything like that and has never threatened anyone still this day everyone remembers this drama the rumours and my cousin is being seen as the problem every time my cousin Sarah goes outside she sees someone who went to school they always give her the dirts or laugh at her and many people cut her off and they really hurt her so much many people call my cousin Sarah weird but she still to this day doesn’t know what she did wrong
