GCSE options for future lawyer

I definitely don’t want to pick Geography, triple Science, or a language. I’m choosing History, PE, RE, and Business with the required Maths, English, and Science. Do you think these will be okay for studying law in the future? Any advice from law students? 👍

they mainly will look at your a level subjects, only the grades you get in your gcses would matter, so pick whatever you think you would enjoy/be good at!

Most top Unis set a minimum GCSE English requirement - typically 6 or 7 for Law - and most will use your overall GCSE grade profile as a very small part of their assessment - but your A level grades will always be FAR more important. So, stop stressing and enjoy Year 11.

No GCSE is needed for being a lawyer in the future. At GCSE level it is about discovering your interest and building a good foundation for A-levels so humanities are important. From what I can see your choices would provide that for you
