AQA english literature advice

currently doing the color purple and im really struggling coming up with simple ideas. Ive been stuck at 13/12 marks does anyone have any adice on how to move up marks not too sure what im doing wrong my teacher doesnt really give good feedback back. Im in yr 13 its pretty concerning.

Hi @Uknownpanda. I was a former student so I will give you my advice on how to improve. To move from 12-13 marks and to to move the higher band which is purple then make sure to concentrate on making a clear and concise argument. Make sure to use short quotes and and keep linking it back to the main theme. Also, I would say to start every paragraph with a strong and valid point ,next is so add a brief quote and explain how both the structure and language displays a characters development or a key idea and lastly make sure to link that within the Walkers purposes or other related context.
