Christmas in Liverpool

Hey everyone,

As we head towards the end of term, staff and students around Liverpool Hope have been getting into the Christmas spirit! Whether Christmas is a holiday that you celebrate or not, it can be fun to enjoy the festivities around the campuses and the city!

I personally loved attending our campus Christmas light switch on and Christmas markets on Hope Park campus, and was very impressed by the decorations across all campuses (especially the huge trees!). :tree:

In the city centre, we also have really lovely Christmas markets. I like the ones by Lime Street station, which have a big wheel ride that I can never resist, and I enjoyed toasting marshmallows there too at the weekend! Down by the Liver Building, the stalls are very food and drink focused, and there are more rides and an ice skating rink (which I was too afraid to try)! :holly:

As a proud Film and Visual Culture graduate, I'm now of course preparing to start watching all my favourite Christmas films. First up will be Love, Actually because the cast is just unreal.
