Hello :smile:
Try remembering key quotes from beginning, middle, and end of play. Also remember to drill in your quotes and use AO1, AO2, and AO3 in your answer.

AO1= Your point (Make it unique!)
AO2= Language analysis
AO3= Context

Good luck- You can do it!

I totally agree with going for something unique. It will stand out for examiners when you are a bit different but still have effective analysis.

Many people using "I dont play golf" in AIC was even mentioned in the 2024 examiners report for aqa i think. Personally, i would avoid common and slightly boring quotes like this unless what you say about it is really special.

Try Mr Salles on youtube (and his substack) sparknotes and Mr everything English on Youtube, the really help me the most for all aspects of english.

I would say most of your grade comes from planning before hand. You can also predict the 5 most common themes in any question and write essay plans for them.

Remember to not forget unseen poetry (so many people do) and its worth the most marks (32)
Good luck!!

Hey @x.inaaya1x,

As mentioned above, you can predict some of the common themes that could come up and learn key quotations and AO1 points for each of these themes.

Make sure to do a timed past paper beforehand: choose a paper you're not very familiar with/haven't completed in full before and set yourself a timer for 2 hours and 15 minutes. Memorising content/quotes is important, but so is improving your exam technique!

Best of luck with your Literature mock,
Eve (Kingston Rep).
