How can I get a job as a pharmacy assistant?
8m on a gap year and i want to work in a pharmacy as a pharmacy assistant in the mean time. I tried contacting pharmacies in London but most of them want someone who has an NVQ2 in pharmacy services which I don’t have.
Does anyone that works in a pharmacy know if there are any pharmacies that accept a gap year student with no NVQ2 but is willing to do it?

What's stopping you starting an apprenticeship then leaving it for university? As you don't yet have a university place you are not laying when put the application in provided you word it carefully.
When they can get an apprentice on under £9 an hour, why would they take anyone else who is unqualified?
