Emil Dale Academy audition
My dd had an audition yesterday and felt super strong and consistent throughout the day but wasn’t asked to stay for an interview. Trying to find out if anyone has been offered a BA hons degree without an interview as surely EDA couldn’t collate all info from the day for all applicants by 5pm?

I can’t give you an answer I’m afraid. My daughter was the same. Had a great day yesterday but no interview. They said that this doesn’t automatically mean they wouldn’t get offered anything. Personally I don’t think they would offer if they didn’t have an interview. 🤷🏼*♀️🤷🏼*♀️ we shall see. I’m sure they wouldn’t want to disappoint everyone on the day,. By email is much easier lol. But we shall see and have everyting crossed. Good luck to your daughter,

I would think they should have emailed you an outcome by now. Best of luck we’re in limbo land now😬 might have a place.., might not… be nice yo hear from anyone who has been in this situation…
This was my DD last year, she found out that she did get a place, I think it was early June the offer came.

My daughter got offered a foundation last year (though it was quite late in the year) and degree this year. Both times she was called back for an interview. She has heard of one or two who got offered last year with no interview though. Good luck to your daughter x

Unlikely they'd offer a place without an interview. Newcastle admissions likely reviewing applications. Suggest contacting them directly for update on your application

My DD is in the same position. She had a recall audition this week but no interview. Is this the end of the EDA journey for her or are offers made without interviews?

My daughter is on the Cert course at EDA and auditioned this week. Luckily she did get an interview but has not heard anything yet.
It is fairly well known to the students that if you don't get an interview then you won't get a place. If you do get an interview you are more likely to get either waitlist or an offer.
You can get a recall for another audition later in the year without an interview.

My DD auditioned last year, had an interview and was waitlisted for the cert. She was offered her place in May. She ended up turning it down but the timescale may help some in the same situation
