To those who have applied to a grad scheme for Mace Group have they got back to you yet in terms of application update? My role closed 10/11 and I haven’t got an update since

Nope. I applied late October and haven't heard anything since completing the online application for my pathway as well

Yeah I find it a bit odd I’ve already done an AC at another company, mace usually do their ACs in Jan/feb I emailed them to ask on an update so I’ll get back to this also what role did you apply for?

I applied for the Risk Management scheme in Defence and National Security wbu? I’ve done 1 AC recently as well but honestly, a lot of the grad schemes that i’ve applied for are taking a long time to get back to me either after the initial application or the recorded video interviews. I reckon we’ll get an update either in the next week or so or more likely, some time in January for an AC in Feb if we pass.

I applied for construction management in infrastructure, and same for me of all the grad schemes I’ve applied to not a lot have got back yet so you’re probably correct in terms of them giving us an application update next week or at least some time this month

I might just assume I got rejected then kinda crazy since I worked there for a bit, also did you send them an email asking for an update or no? Also good luck for the rest of your applications and ACs

Thanks you too. Received the rejection earlier this morning with general tips on what rejected candidates could’ve done better. In the email they mentioned needing to have 1 or more of the following

“A stronger motivation and understanding for Mace Consult, the programme, and/or the role.
A stronger demonstration of our key values, behaviours and competencies
A stronger standard of communication in the application form, e.g. spelling, punctuation, grammar, and/or professional language”

Oh your role was with mace consultancy, mines with construction but I should get an email tomorrow or Friday hopefully, well hopefully you can land a grad job good luck

They haven’t got back to me since the initial application and I don’t see them getting back this month at this point, maybe in January they will
